This is Rich Hoeg chiming in; thanks for adding this post. This is a very serious question for me.  Should my company invest in more courses via online engineering programs, web 2.0 tools, or things I haven't even considered? Given limited budgets, all of the above is never a reasonable answer. In addition, I'm not certain the younger engineer is all that intrigued with the concept of traditional courses. I've explored Second Life, but for I don't think this kind of sim is yet ready for prime time, particulariy if you are not a "software guy".</description>
