The mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Teacher at Sea (TAS) program is to give teachers a clearer insight into our ocean planet, a greater understanding of maritime work and studies, and to increase their level of environmental literacy by fostering an interdisciplinary research experience. Science Teacher Scholarships

Honeywell will sponsor scholarships for 20 middle school science teachers in northern NJ schools, including:logo-stevens

  • Tuition for one-week summer institute
  • $750 stipend for completion of all activities
  • Approx. $300 of classroom source materials
  • 30 hours of professional development credit
  • Classroom coaching and support
